PARENTING |
Parenting is an evolving journey with countless transitions along the way. Although the journey can be filled with satisfaction and connection, it is also one fraught with worry, hard work and the juggling of too many conflicting demands and responsibilities. There are many predictable parenting transitions -- the first child, the second child, etc, children beginning school, adolescence, leaving home. There are sleepless nights, endless chores, and many questions and difficult situations that continually arise along the parenting journey. I enjoy helping parents and families find their own unique answers to their personal questions and struggles so they can experience a deeper connection with themselves and their children. Whether it is being a resource to parents for information and help on their parenting style and journey, or working through their own upbringing to be better parents themselves, or helping families cope with difficult transitions such as adolescence, or coping with ongoing issues such as children who have learning differences or special needs, I believe therapy can be an extremely valuable tool and resource for families. I seek to find the best resources for parents and families. If I can not help you I enjoy connecting you with people who can. Links to Related Pages: |
